 Perfect gift for any Netbook Geek March 10, 2010

I got this for my Asus 10.1 inch netbook. I have to admit that I'm a complete geek for this format. I have outfitted my netbook with a slew of equipment to create the full nano-workstation lab. There are literally hundreds of netbook computer sized bags but most of them are basically the same except for cosmetics. This is the only bag I've found to carry computer plus its natural electronic companions.
I carry an external DVD drive, an external 500Gb hard drive, a USB sound card, Bluetooth headset, my iTouch, powered speaker panel, Sony Xacti video cam, several USB flash drives and sdhc chips, cables and AC adapters as needed....
It required a little internal modification of the pockets and a practiced packing routine to get everything in... A tight fit but I feel that if the whole package fell off a desk that everything would be fine.
Only problem is if I get a micro-LCD projector I'm going to have to leave something out :-(

This case is everything anyone could ever want to transport 10.1 inch netbook. It is stylish, securely holds the computer, seems very well made, enough storage for a mouse and charger and the computer can be used while still in the case.
There are absolutely no negatives. A great traveling companion.

Carries my Netbook and the associated power supply as well as a small Logitech Mouse. I like the shoulder strap .....many I looked at did not have a shoulder strap. Good sturdy well padded bag.

Cheap and small! Exactly what I wanted and expected. I use it for my Asus netbook and have space for the power cord, headphones, lens cleaner, and flash disks. Was great for flying except for the flight attendant who rudely scolded me for closing it and storing it rather than fully shutting it down before landing.

It would be perfect for just a 10.2" netbook alone with its power cord. However, it is a little small for the inside pocket(s) to hold the power cord and a very slim external optical drive. I fear putting the the optical drive in the case will cause premature wear of the zippers. Other than that, so far so good for the 3 weeks of use. Would like to have had a little more padding on the bottom side. Very similiar to a portbale DVD carrying case.
